Advantages and benefits

Benefits for the contractor

Benefits for the investor

  • a simple and quick way to make ducts and fitters, which does not require expensive tools,
  • short time of realization, at low cost of execution,
  • the possibility of making ducts on the construction site (significant reduction of transport costs),
  • unnecessary additional insulation,
  • very good sound insulation (possibility to reduce or even completely eliminate silencers),
  • high tightness of the ducts,
  • no tendency to growth fungi and mold,
  • a small suspension system due to the low weight of the materials used to make the ducts,
  • ease of making modifications during or after assembly (no waste),
  • the possibility of frequent ducts cleaning - high quality of the transmitted air,
  • total resistance to corrosion,
  • the possibility of using ducts as interior decoration - Climaver Deco,
  • optimal use of material for the ducts construction:

Duct from one element

Duct from one element U and panel

Duct from two elements  -L-

Duct from four elements

We use smaller pieces to make plenum boxes.

  • designers do not have to measure details precisely. The contractor on the construction site "avoids obstacles" by himself. This significantly reduces the project realization time.

The price of a finished duct made of Climaver A2 Black or Climaver A2 Plus boards is lower compared to the price of a thermally insulated sheet metal duct. However, if we take into account other aspects, such as the possibility of eliminating silencers, infinitesimal transport costs, or a reduced suspension system due to the lightness of the ducts, we can achieve significant savings as a result.
Ducts made of Climaver B Black and Climaver B Plus boards are much cheaper. For this reason, they are often used in factory or warehouse halls and in single-family housing.

Making ducts and fitters

Installation is making directly on the construction site. The contractor does not need to use its own facility.

The necessity to produce elements in your own plant or order them from the manufacturer.

You can start the task immediately after signing the contract.

Short realization time.

Before starting the realization task, the contractor "loses" time preparing elements in the plant or waiting (often very long) for delivery from the manufacturer.

To make an installation there is need to use a set of few inexpensive tools. The cost of the necessary set is about 1000 PLN.

The contractor is an independent producer of ducts and fitters. The way of execution is very simple. After a one-day training, installers are able to make all fitters on their own.

To manufacture ventilation ducts yourself, it is necessary to equip your own plant with many expensive machines.

Ordering components from the manufacturer increase unnecessary significant costs.

Built-in heat and sound insulation and vapor barrier.

The necessity of labor-intensive duct insulation.

Installation assembly

The components of the installation are very light. In most cases, there is no need to erect scaffolding for assembly, it can be done from ladders, even by two workers.

Heavy weight of the installation components. Necessity to erect scaffolding. More workers are needed for assembly.

Negligible suspension system due to the low weight.

Due to the heavy weight, must be used a solid and expensive suspension system.

Logistics

To construction site are delivered only cardboard sheets, which significantly reduces transport costs.

Delivery of extremely large elements to the construction site generates significant transport costs.

Storage of material on the construction site or in the warehouse does not take up much space.

Ventilation ducts made on site are installed immediately.

For the storage of components is required a large storage area.

Material saving

Installations are made "to measure" avoiding obstacles. Potential collisions resulting from discrepancies between the project and the actual state do not generate in material loss.

The elements are made in the plant only on the basis of design documentation. In the case of a collision, there is a risk of material loss and slippage due to waiting for delivery of matching items.

Potential changes of the installation course after assembly, in most cases can be made practically without material losses and without any downtime.

Any change of the edge of the installation during or after assembly always causes material losses and downtime while waiting for the right elements.

Small elements (such as plenum boxes) can be made of waste material.

The contractor orders from the manufacturer all the necessary elements of the installation.

Material purchased in excess can be used for another investment.

Unnecessarily ordered items go to waste.

Accoustics

Very good sound suppresion properties in ventilation. The ducts have high degree noise suppresion from one room to another. In most cases, the silencers can be completely eliminated.

Ventilation ducts effectively transfer the sound coming from the air handling unit as well as between rooms. The necessity of use expensive and high-volume silencers.

Ventilation ducts do not transfer vibrations from the unit. There is no need for amortization aprons.

Vibrations are effectively transmitted throughout the whole installation. The necessity of use amortization aprons.

The system does not work (does not deform) with temperature changes.

Significant tensions occur when the temperature changes, which causes the installation creaking and generate noise.

Realization time

Shorter realization time:

- immediate availability of material

- the ability to immediately start the task realization

- ease of installation.

Longer realization time

Costs

The cost of the finished installation is lower by 10 to 25% depending on the type of boards used.

Higher cost.

Installation efficiency

The installations are extremely tight, and the thermal insulation and vapor barrier are fully continuous, which contributes to the high efficiency of the system.

High risk of leakiness. Making a fully continuous thermal insulation and vapor barrier is very difficult, sometimes even impossible.

Durability

Total corrosion resistance.

Galvanized steel sheet corrodes over time.

The load of the building structure

The unusual lightness of the material (2.0 / 2.5 kg/m2) often solves a very serious problem of structural loads, especially in adapting old buildings or building halls.

High weight (10 / 13kg/m2), due to the load on the building structure, sometimes even prevents the use of sheet metal systems.
